Youth with disabilities succeed in athletics at the Wayfinder Paralympic Games. Schools and playgrounds often lack adapted activities. But at the Wayfinder Paralympic Games, these youth can shine! Formerly known as the Junior Blind Olympics, this event has been offering athletic opportunities to youth with disabilities for more than a decade.

Athletes ages 6 to 22 who are blind, visually impaired or multi-disabled compete with peers of similar abilities for gold, silver and bronze medals in adapted sports. No experience is required.

Volunteer Description:

The PTV Team will serve as Coaches and Coach Assistants, escorting Athletes from competition to competition. This is one of the most awe inspiring events we do in the year.

THIS EVENT IS CLOSED FOR RSVP! HOPE TO SEE YOU AT ONE OF OUR NEXT EVENTS.

Pitch In at Canoga Park High School’s Beautification Day @ Canoga Park High School
May 19 @ 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Pathways To Volunteering joins Big Sunday for their Month of Sundays in May.

Volunteers will help make women feel more at home at Alexandria House. This great nonprofit helps single women and women with children transition from emergency shelters to permanent housing. So let’s help organize their pantry, tend their garden, and clean up their teen center.

Motivate the athletes at Canoga Park High School with a new gym! Their Hunter Training Facility could use some renovations. Some inspirational words on the walls to get their blood pumping as they become faster and stronger: “Hard Work” or “Be Strong”. And what better way to show school pride than painting the walls in their school colors?

Minimum age to volunteer is 12.

Parking Lot is available.
